Sounds a little weird, but it’s awesome! This book was recommended to be by a friend, and it’s terrific! I’ve always had a bit of reserve about using coffee in food – I guess I always feared that the texture of coffee grounds would somehow ruin everything – especially odd since I frequently eat chocolate covered coffee beans, but I digress. I haven’t gone through every recipe in the book of course, but what I’ve tried, I’ve been pleasantly surprized, with the dreaded ‘coffee grounds in mouth’ a complete non-issue!

Hauntingly good recipes for Halloween One of the best recipe books I’ve ever seen! Apart from the really clever and, oh so seasonable, recipes, their names are spot on. Now, as someone who isn’t all that great at cooking/baking/boiling/frying/caramelizing and all the other things cooks do I found this book to be non-cook friendly in that it “talked” to me. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow (not that I’ve followed all of them, yet). So if you are looking to make your Halloween party go with a “bump” this is a book to get. And if you want something different to give out to trick-or-treaters this is definitely the book to get.

Coffe lovers unite! What a truly neat, unique and ghoulish book! Recipes, coffees, zombie humor, the whole shebang! I haven’t like a book as much as my haunted house book! […]
