Yummy Coffee Recipes As a coffee lover myself, I fell instantly in love with Billy Taylor’s cookbook. The 20 recipes are deliciously yummy, featuring extensive headnotes, and clear step-by-step instructions. Billy starts out with a general recipe tips section to ensure every cook, no matter their skills, can successfully dish out these creations. My husband demanded the “Coffee Cake of the Gods”, so that’s what I’ll try first…

Even for a gluten-free cook, I’m excited to try this book These delicious recipes are to die for…especially if you like coffee and sweets. I like how the author was entertaining as well as knowledgeable. I think I’m going to whip up some Pumpkin Spiced Latte this afternoon.

Even if you never get past the intro, you’ll find this book to be valuable.Billy’s tips and tricks at the beginning give useful measurements, substitutions, and oven conversion information I always find myself having to Google. Now I have them together in one, nice, Kindle book.Moving past that, most of the recipes are cakes (*coffee* cakes, including the apple “pie”), many include fruit (mmmm), and yummy coffee–and since they’re cakes and call for cake flour (lower in protein than regular flour) I’m very hopeful that I will be able to substitute gluten-free flour without a huge change in consistency or quality.Off to make the first recipe! Who can resist a glorious coffee cake on a crisp Fall day?Not I!
